End of the Kiosk?

The ticket kiosk on the West Pier, which had stood defiantly after the fires and other disasters that have struck the pier in recent years, looked to be about to disappear before long as it buckled under a tremendous battering from strong winds and waves today.
Calls for the kiosk to be removed from the pier and preserved were rejected by the West Pier Trust on the grounds that attempting to do this would be too dangerous.
Postscript...by the morning of 3rd December there was no sign of the kiosk at all.
